Fabio Capello claims Cristiano Ronaldo wants Manchester return

Capello believes a deal involving Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United can happen as early as this summer. He told Sky Sport Italia: “I believe Ronaldo wants to go back to Manchester, and be coached by Mourinho again”.

The Italian also suggested Real should target Bayern’s Robert Lewandowski should Ronaldo leaves Bernabeu. He added: “Real will need someone to replace Cristiano Ronaldo in terms of goals. The only available player right now is Robert Lewandowski”.

Lewandowski is one of a handful of potential targets for Real Madrid. Reports also suggest that should Real decide to reinforce their attack, they will make PSG star Neymar their top target.

Real Madrid will need to smash Neymar’s record €222 million transfer fee to have a chance of signing the Brazilian superstar.
